Abby Update: Turn for the Worse, Very Concerning

Abby’s infection is getting much worse on her stomach. Her stomach is so swollen that you can see the veins in her skin. She look very “pregnant”. It’s getting very concerning. Very concerning.Sami and Landis are going to friend’s house for the weekend, Garrett to his grandmother’s so that I can go and stay at the hospital for a while. Abby continues to be unable to fight infection, having fevers and in constant pain. It’s very disheartening. Thank you for your prayers and kindness to us. We’ll keep you updated on the blog. We'll try to put up a more detailed post later this evening.

Biopsy Results, Surgeon, Prayer, Question

I'm glad you stopped by... please do comment so I know you did :)

Biopsy done on R breast IS indeed Benighn! Wahoo! As for the L it is Malignant. The Genetic Testing that was done is NOT mutant! AMEN! This means Surgery will ONLY be done the ONE breast AND it is acceptible to Tomoxicafin Capsule so NO radiation or Chemo will be needed! Another Hallelujah! :) I'm scheduled for a consult w/Surgeon on March 19th to discuss surgery... mastectomy or partial...

I'm still in much pain from Monday Night (see previous blog) and don't know how long it will take to heal :( In the mean time I'm missing church because I do not want to be seen like this! I hate answering the same question over & over again... "What happen to you?" then judgement ppl give their negative feedback! I'd llike to say, "Well DUH, looks like I got punch a few times!" So I just avoid it all together. What gets me about people in church (at least the one I go to) is most do not really care anyway, just nosey & then gossip is all. Same as this "Old Timers Apt Complex" I live at! Sheeeeeeesh louise! You'd think ppl would get a life of their own & not be so darn quick to judge then gossip without knowing the facts!

Anyway, yesterday I did go visit *K* in jail. Asked "Why didn't you stop HER from doing this to me?" His reply was, "Because you started it both times." SAY WHAT??? I'm courious to SEE the police report! No wonder I also got charged with 5th degree assult! They LIED, plain out LIED! I did NO such thing! I didn't even touch HER!!! I was standing in the doorway taking *K* key off my keyring when SHE attacked me & there was no 1st or 2nd time! I did NOT fight back because for #1 It's not the Christian thing to do. & #2 I didn't want to sit in jail...!

I've contacted the ppl that I need to talk to. Got the pictures I need to get. And will be pressing MORE charges + asking for restitution! I did go up & find my diamond necklace however the chain is broken but at least I found it! :) My father had given it to mom before he passed away.

Would you please pray for continueous healing. My eyes are still sore, lump on head is painful, neck marks... one is now infected & hurts :-( Thanks ahead of time for your prayers!

This Saturday my extended step family is getting together to celebrate a 5yr olds birthday... I don't know if I should go or not :-( I'm thinking I'd SCARY them with my looks! They are 12, 10, 8, 5, 1. Their mother who has seen the pictures said, "Come but I'll understand if you don't want to!" They live OUT-OF-TOWN so I don't get to see them very often :-(

I wanted to tell you about something that a group of people are doing for the Riggs. We've been putting this together for weeks, and I talked Brent & Michelle into letting me tell their blog friends about it.

A group of us have gotten "Praying for Abby" T-shirts donated to help raise money for the expenses the Riggs have had since Abby got sick. "Pray For Me... Pray For Other" Wednesday

Good Wednesday morning... we've been hit with snow, LOTS of SNOW up here in Northern Minnesota so it's a Great day to stay in & stay warm :-) While spending time with the HOLY SPIRIT. Yesterday I had a biopsy on the R breast which the Dr THINKS is benign because it was a more difficult procedure due to THICKER tissue... lets just pray Pathology Report shows that this indeed is FACT... results tomorrow morning with my Family Physician... Pathology Report on Left is Malignant.

Life's journey has taken me through a bit of HARD but TRUTHFUL "Learning Experience" once again... in short, God presented me with a situation that can & did happen when I TOUGHT I was doing HIS Will but indeed I was only fooling myself (or in denial). He brought me to SEE some truths of FRIENDSHIPS! He literally said, "Why do you drop everything you're doing (including me) to go 'help' someone that doesn't want to help themselves? Are you 'enabling' him? Stop & SEE what kind of friend you THINK you have!" UFF-da! OK, now I've learned the HARD way! Now I SEE the TRUTH! Now I know that God comes FIRST in my life! Now I know that sometimes I just have to say "NO, enough is enough and leave the rest up to God!" Like one of my favorite quotes... "Let Go & Let God"...

This picture I'm including today is pretty graphic! It shows ME what happens when I stray from God's Word to Run out & "save the world"... instead of "Let Go & Let God"... it shows ME what a TRUE FRIENDSHIP is NOT... AND it shows YOU what CAN happen to if you don't learn from my Experience...

THIS is the question I asked God, "WHY did *he* sit & WATCH allowing this to happen? God, You KNOW I would have been there to help him!"

Here's me TODAY... Please pray for my HEALING... both physically and emotionally as I trudge this road...

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible. The little girl said, 'When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah'. The teacher asked, 'What if Jonah went to hell?' The little girl replied, 'Then you ask him'.

Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work. As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was. The girl replied, 'I'm drawing God.' The teacher paused and said, 'But no one knows what God looks like.' Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, 'They will in a minute.'

A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to 'honour' thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, 'Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?' Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, 'Thou shall not kill..'

One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head. She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, 'Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?' Her mother replied, 'Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.' The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture. 'Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.' A small voice at the back of the room rang out, 'And there's the teacher, she's dead.'

A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, 'Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face.' 'Yes,' the class said. 'Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?' A little fellow shouted, 'Cause your feet ain't empty.'

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: 'Take only ONE . God is watching.' Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, 'Take all you want. God is watching the apples.'

It doesn't matter how many people you send this to, just remember if it made you laugh, your friends will laugh too.

Despondent Person = one who is all down & depressed about their situation > is because of anxious & worry thoughts… Firboating + thinking of negative before it happens… We are afraid of expecting good because we may not get it… Satan wants that.

When we wait on God we should be waiting with enthusiasm, thinking positive. God’s got a good plan for you. Expecting is Good… I’m expecting God to bless me, I’m expecting God will give me GOOD.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick. Some get up thinking whatever happens happen = sit & wait is doing nothing, you get nothing.

You may not get encouragement from parent, friend, etc… stop looking for it from PEOPLE, look to God & He will provide.

Fear begins with Thoughts. Just because Satan puts those Negative thoughts in your mind doesn’t mean you need to stay there! Change it by speaking something positive… I’m expecting something good today!

Stop Agreeing with the Devil & get in Agreement with God.

Take responsibility to your thoughts! Open your mouth & speak Positive “Singing or Confessing the Word of God”

Peace is such a wonderful gift of God, worry is torment.
