FAITH ~ "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." ~Heb 11:1
If you had read my blog Wed, I'm sorry! I questioned Faith. Today It occured to me I actually DID have FAITH when I didn't THINK I did... I used the WRONG word! There really is no other word for it's place either... besides PRAY!
Prayer is the BEST thing one can do. As it says in the Book of God (Bible). Jesus said, "Wait." As he went & prayed before going forward.
Sometimes as Humans we get so overloaded that we forget to step back & do exactly what we've just asked others to do. Oh, don't get me wrong... I did pray for 2 lil ones + Abby... but I did not pray for myself & others. I didn't set time aside & meditate. Allowing "feelings" to jump ahead of PRAYER AND MEDITATION wore me out!
Now with time in between, I've gone back & re-edited. (so nice I can do that on my own blogs.)
FAITH, yes I have Faith. I have faith that anyone who read my blog prayed! I have Faith that no matter the outcome in any situation God will take care of it! I have Faith that all the answers ARE in the Bible (we just need to look for them).
You see, I could spend an eternity reading the Bible over & over but not memorize it... Perhaps I need to STUDY it like I use to? Gee, I know of another Book that I've heard myself say alot... "It's not just the Big Book. It's our STUDY manuel for living happy, joyous and FREE!" I'm pretty well aware of what's in THAT book...
So what's the difference between the Big Book and the Bible? Isn't the BIBLE more important? I mean, it is GOD's WORD right? So WHAT makes me think I can slide thru life lately by just reading the Bible & not STUDYING it?
No wonder life gets overwhelming! I didn't stick with my morning & evening time to STUDY the Bible. I'd get up, hope there'd be a good verse or more on the computer then watch my 2 favorite ministry programs & start my day.
Here's how I see it... Prayer + Bible + Meditation put into practice = LIVING God's will. "Practice what ya preach" Oh golly gee!
So ... life goes forward, I can honestly say I am at Peace, Happy & Loving inside. As my day goes forward I ask the Good Lord to be his shining light for not only You but also for Me.
